Job Description
Senior QA engineer automating UI, API, and performance testing for a global mining company through ELEKS. Developing test scripts, documentation, metrics, and quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Review, analyse and assess project requirements and specifications as well as product functionality to convert them into quality control process artefacts
- Prepare and acquire test data
- Develop, execute, refactor and optimize automation scripts
- Log and evaluate results and document deviations from the expected results
- Use automation scripts administration, monitoring, and management tools
- Provide automation test environment setup
- Review test artefacts developed by others
- Contribute to automation process control definition and improvement
- Investigate and implement new automation tools or approaches
- Create test documentation
- Communicate with a customer
- Implement and execute tests at all planned levels, log and evaluate results and document deviations from expected results
- Create, validate, and update test documentation, including test cases and test plans
- Contribute to the general project quality assurance process
- Analyse, improve, and establish test processes on a project
- Analyse coverage for the project test basis
- Define relevant project metrics
- Define, prioritize, and estimate needed test efforts
- Measure component and system performance, if applicable
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in automation testing
- Essential: C#
- Essential: TypeScript
- Essential: Relational database experience (SQL)
- Essential: UI, API, and performance testing
- Nice to have: Microservices architecture
- Nice to have: Aspect and CubeLogic, Databricks, Playwright + Cucumber, Azure DevOps experience
