Job Description

Senior Graphic Designer creating persuasive pitch decks and creative presentations for Devoted Studios, a global game development partner. Building scalable visual systems across diverse game IPs while mentoring designers and supporting business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the visual execution of client pitches, capability decks, and creative presentations across the game development slate
  • Own visual strategy for high-stakes pitches, determining the appropriate use of art, data, motion, and narrative
  • Design and refine company capability decks, case study materials, and client-facing presentations aligned with each IP's visual language
  • Adapt designs across diverse aesthetics, from stylized casual to gritty triple-A
  • Build reusable templates, component libraries, and motion frameworks for concurrent pitches
  • Interpret ambiguous creative direction from leadership and business development
  • Present work to internal stakeholders and clients when needed
  • Mentor junior and mid-level designers on craft and professional judgment
  • Provide final-eyes feedback on decks before delivery

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of design experience, ideally with exposure to games, entertainment, or a fast-paced agency environment
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides
  • Portfolio demonstrating range across visual styles
  • Strong understanding of pitch narrative structure: hook, world, proof, ask
  • Experience building scalable design systems and reusable templates
  • Track record of taking initiative rather than waiting for a brief
  • Ability to push back constructively on ineffective creative direction and explain the rationale clearly
  • Genuine enthusiasm for unfamiliar IPs and new creative challenges
  • Experience in outsourcing, co-development, or work-for-hire studio environments (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with live-service, mobile, or casual game genres (nice to have)
  • Motion design or animation experience for pitch materials (nice to have)

Benefits:

  • Standard industry benefits in Canada
