Job Description
Senior Graphic Designer creating identities and design systems for Bishop-McCann’s live events and experiences. Owning concepts from strategy through onsite execution across digital, print, and environmental touchpoints.
Responsibilities:
- Develop original creative concepts, visual identities, and experience journeys for events, incentives, and new business opportunities
- Create mood boards, concept decks, and visual storytelling to help clients understand and believe in ideas
- Own design workstreams from concept through final production with a high degree of independence
- Translate creative concepts across the attendee journey, including pre-event communications, onsite environments, stages, screens, signage, wayfinding, digital experiences, and other touchpoints
- Design across digital, print, and environmental experiential elements
- Create signage and branding plans for hotels and work with print, digital, scenic, and fabrication vendors
- Partner with motion designers, editors, and Production to unify graphic, spatial, and moving worlds
- Art direct and guide Graphic Designers and freelance talent
- Design with physical production realities including scale, materials, fabrication, sightlines, screen formats, and technical requirements
- Manage priorities across multiple programs and deadlines
- Build client presentations and pitch decks
- Present creative thinking and design work directly to clients alongside Creative Directors and cross-functional partners
- Translate client feedback into thoughtful solutions
- Partner with Creative, Production, Planning, Account, and New Business from discovery and brief through execution
- Uphold BMC design standards and improve work quality
- Provide constructive feedback and mentor developing designers
- Explore AI and emerging technologies for research, concept development, visualization, image generation, iteration, and storytelling
- Identify new tools, techniques, and capabilities for more distinctive and impactful work
Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional design experience, ideally within events, experiential marketing, hospitality, entertainment, or a creative agency environment
- Portfolio proving concept, craft, and range across branding, presentations, print, digital, environmental, and event design
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Advanced PowerPoint skills and ability to create sophisticated client and executive presentations
- Fluency with generative AI tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of print production, large-format/environmental graphics, file preparation, and production standards
- Experience collaborating across motion, video, spatial design, production, and other creative disciplines
- Experience directing other creatives and presenting work directly to clients and senior-level executives
- Strong organizational skills and comfort navigating multiple clients, programs, deliverables, and deadlines
- Willingness to travel as needed for client programs, presentations, and events
- B2B event experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Figma, After Effects, motion design, 3D, or spatial design preferred
