Job Description
ERP GTS Business Analyst responsible for implementation of SAP solutions at RTX Aerospace. Collaborating with teams for compliance solutions in global trade management.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business and other digital team members including cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and map business processes to SAP GTS functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leveraging S/4HANA GTS module, enhancing our GTS processes in alignment with desired RTX operating model and industry best practices.
- Configure and customize SAP GTS modules, including Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management, and Electronic Compliance Reporting
- Support end-to-end implementation, including system configuration, integration with SAP S4HANA, testing.
- Support the creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies and common design aspirations.
- Support the evaluation of options for bolt-on applications and make recommendations based on functional requirements, desired RTX operating model, and industry best practices.
- Assist data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing.
- Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows and data policies.
- Deliver functional specifications for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations and workflows deemed in scope for GTS as part of the program.
- Mentor less experienced team members in specific areas of the (Plan to Deliver) business process hierarchy
- Ensure that RTX is positioned for future success within all functional areas of (Plan to Deliver) Travel 10% - 25% domestically
Requirements:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.
- SAP GTS Expertise: Demonstrated experience with SAP GTS Module, including Compliance Management, Customs Management, and integration with SAP EWM and other logistics modules; A&D industry experience is a plus.
- Trade Compliance and Risk Management: Knowledge of Export and Import Legal Control processes (e.g., license determination, embargo checks), preference management for duty savings, and conducting risk assessments with mitigation strategies.
- Master Data and Valuation Processes: Ability to maintain/update compliance master data (e.g., ECCNs, HTS codes), with familiarity in customs valuation, duty calculations, and preference management processes.
