Job Description
Senior Loan Officer consulting with customers on auto-loan refinancing at Caribou Financial. Managing inbound leads, loan terms, protection products, and finance deal processing.
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls and warm leads without cold calling
- Consult with and assist customers in refinancing auto loans
- Advise customers on additional protection products, including vehicle protection services and other offerings
- Explain loan terms, aftermarket products, and extended service contracts
- Act as a product sales expert and maintain product sales attachment goals
- Manage and maintain a large pipeline of prospective customers and acceptable conversion levels
- Conduct business ethically and professionally according to lender guidelines, finance laws, and internal compliance guidelines
- Process finance deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure funding
- Perform needs assessments, overcome objections, and manage customer expectations
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements:
- 2 years refinance experience demonstrating success in a loan officer role
- Experience handling and maintaining a high volume pipeline
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to quickly build rapport with customers
- Clear communication and active listening skills
- Ability to process information efficiently and incorporate information in real time with customers
- Ability to learn new technology and use a variety of software platforms
- Excellent time management skills
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus
- Availability to work primarily Monday through Friday during 7AM–7PM MT business hours
- Required to work at least one weekend shift every four weeks, Saturday or Sunday, 8AM–5PM MT
- Consistent attendance, availability, and active engagement throughout the full scheduled shift
- Pre-employment background check required as a condition of employment
