Job Description

Senior policy leader advancing Bolton Clarke’s public advocacy and government relations. Shaping aged-care policy through submissions, stakeholder engagement and regulatory analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Support public policy, advocacy and external relations strategies aligned to organisational priorities
  • Monitor political, regulatory and sector developments impacting aged care, healthcare and social services
  • Prepare submissions, briefing notes, position papers, consultation responses and advocacy materials
  • Build and maintain relationships with government, regulators, industry bodies and key external stakeholders
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement, meetings, briefs and follow-up actions with senior leaders
  • Support evidence-based policy development through research, analysis and internal consultation
  • Work closely with senior leaders to support public advocacy, government relations and policy agendas
  • Help position Bolton Clarke as a trusted voice across aged care, healthcare and social services

Requirements:

  • Senior experience in policy, government relations, public affairs, advocacy or stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality submissions, briefing papers and policy analysis
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across government, regulators, industry and internal leadership groups
  • Sound understanding of policy, legislative and regulatory environments affecting complex service organisations
  • Strong research, communication, influence and judgement skills, with resilience in a fast-moving environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in public policy, political science, law, economics, communications, business or a related field
