Job Description

SAP ERP transformation manager leading Aftermarket MRO projects for RTX, an aerospace and defense company. Driving SAP S/4HANA integration, process improvement, risk management, and executive stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for Aftermarket process development and SAP ERP integration
  • Ensure seamless integration of Aftermarket processes into SAP ERP, aligning capabilities with business needs
  • Communicate project status, benefits, and strategic implications to VPs and senior leaders
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to changes in Aftermarket MRO tool execution processes
  • Align Aftermarket process maps with industry best practices and RTX business-unit needs
  • Lead change-management initiatives supporting adoption of new systems and processes
  • Use SAP S4 technology to identify process-improvement and workflow-optimization opportunities
  • Manage SAP ERP vendor relationships and solution delivery quality
  • Address SAP ERP implementation risks while maintaining regulatory compliance and data-security standards
  • Define and track KPIs for SAP S4 initiatives and report results to senior leadership
  • Lead complex ERP projects aligned with RTX business-transformation goals
  • Define project scope, manage comprehensive plans and budgets, and deliver milestones on time
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, finance, and supply-chain teams
  • Identify inefficiencies, recommend best practices, and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage issues, engage stakeholders, mentor project teams, and promote knowledge sharing, innovation, and accountability
  • Provide executive updates on accomplishments, challenges, and strategic recommendations

Requirements:

  • University degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience, or 14 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree
  • Experience leading large-scale projects and complex initiatives involving Aftermarket operations, SAP ERP systems, and related fields
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and providing regular project updates to executive leaders
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% throughout the project lifecycle
  • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Prior aerospace and defense industry experience preferred
  • Leadership skills including team building, conflict resolution, and performance management preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills preferred
