Job Description
Senior Mechanical Engineer providing development support, design services for electric power projects in Canada. Involvement in technical evaluations, project analysis, and design reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Provide development support and conceptual design as well as owner’s engineer services to clients
- Perform technical evaluations of electric power generation projects and facilities
- Support project economic and cost analysis, risk assessments, and contract development
- Conduct engineering design reviews, technical due diligence, and project development support
Requirements:
- BSME in mechanical engineering from a Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board-accredited program or US based ABET-accredited program
- 10 or more years of experience in the electric power industry
- Experience in detailed design of mechanical systems for conventional power projects
- Strong technical communication and writing skills
- Experience in development support and conceptual design of conventional power projects is desired
- Familiarity with international design codes and standards is preferred
