Job Description

Senior Procurement Manager securing high-value cloud infrastructure contracts for Runpod’s AI platform. Negotiating commercial terms, managing vendors, and optimizing financial and supply chain outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end negotiations for intricate, high-value cloud infrastructure agreements
  • Negotiate payment schedules, cost structures against cash flow, and strategic credit discounts
  • Manage relationships with critical suppliers and secure favorable infrastructure terms
  • Act as the primary liaison between Procurement and Legal
  • Review complex contract clauses and translate commercial requirements into legal frameworks
  • Streamline contract execution with legal counsel
  • Analyze procurement data and vendor proposals
  • Forecast expenses, mitigate supply chain risks, and drive continuous cost improvements
  • Work with engineering teams and finance leadership to understand technical requirements
  • Align procurement strategies with product delivery timelines and company growth goals

Requirements:

  • Extensive, proven experience managing the full procurement lifecycle
  • Strong experience negotiating and completing complicated, enterprise-level contracts
  • Deep familiarity with financial structuring within contracts
  • Ability to leverage payment terms, balance capital expenditures against cash flow, and maximize value through credit discounting
  • Strong capability to navigate and review complex legal language
  • Working-level knowledge of contract law
  • Working-level knowledge of FP&A
  • Ability to tackle supply chain bottlenecks and challenging vendor dynamics
  • Ability to creatively structure financially beneficial deals
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Direct experience procuring hardware, software, or services in datacenter, cloud computing, networking, or AI technology preferred
  • Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, and supply chain best practices preferred
  • Experience in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment preferred
  • Advanced degree or certification in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Law preferred
