Job Description
Senior Procurement Manager securing high-value cloud infrastructure contracts for Runpod’s AI platform. Negotiating commercial terms, managing vendors, and optimizing financial and supply chain outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end negotiations for intricate, high-value cloud infrastructure agreements
- Negotiate payment schedules, cost structures against cash flow, and strategic credit discounts
- Manage relationships with critical suppliers and secure favorable infrastructure terms
- Act as the primary liaison between Procurement and Legal
- Review complex contract clauses and translate commercial requirements into legal frameworks
- Streamline contract execution with legal counsel
- Analyze procurement data and vendor proposals
- Forecast expenses, mitigate supply chain risks, and drive continuous cost improvements
- Work with engineering teams and finance leadership to understand technical requirements
- Align procurement strategies with product delivery timelines and company growth goals
Requirements:
- Extensive, proven experience managing the full procurement lifecycle
- Strong experience negotiating and completing complicated, enterprise-level contracts
- Deep familiarity with financial structuring within contracts
- Ability to leverage payment terms, balance capital expenditures against cash flow, and maximize value through credit discounting
- Strong capability to navigate and review complex legal language
- Working-level knowledge of contract law
- Working-level knowledge of FP&A
- Ability to tackle supply chain bottlenecks and challenging vendor dynamics
- Ability to creatively structure financially beneficial deals
- Successful completion of a background check
- Direct experience procuring hardware, software, or services in datacenter, cloud computing, networking, or AI technology preferred
- Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, and supply chain best practices preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment preferred
- Advanced degree or certification in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Law preferred
