Job Description
Product Designer at Starian focused on developing SaaS solutions for various industries. Collaborate with teams to enhance product design and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner to Product Managers during discovery: identify user problems, pains, and needs, and translate them into design direction.
- Actively influence the product backlog based on research evidence, data, and the company’s strategic objectives.
- Conduct end-to-end user research: recruitment, moderation, analysis, and presentation of findings.
- Independently create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces, taking ownership of design decisions within your scope.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Business teams to ensure viable solutions aligned with company goals.
- Monitor product and design metrics, and contribute to defining metrics that demonstrate design’s impact on business outcomes.
- Design experiences that incorporate Artificial Intelligence into the product and leverage AI in the design process.
- Contribute best practices for visual and interaction consistency to help build design maturity across the company.
- Serve as a technical reference for other designers, influencing the quality of deliverables and contributing to team development.
Requirements:
- Strong experience as a Product Designer (UX/UI) on digital products, preferably SaaS B2B or complex platforms.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, with a track record of leading the design of features or product modules in close partnership with Product Managers.
- Hands-on experience in user research and the ability to turn findings into design and product decisions.
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with collaboration tools (Miro, FigJam, or similar).
- Ability to justify design decisions using data, research, and business objectives.
- Ability to influence the product backlog based on user pains and needs, aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Knowledge of and active use of AI tools and concepts.
- Experience mentoring or influencing other designers, raising the team’s quality bar.
