Job Description
Ideaware is looking for an experienced QA Engineer for their client’s product development team. Responsibilities include testing direction, collaborating with teams, and client-facing duties.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring robust testing during feature development and testable software architecture is maintained.
- Expected to be a lead participant in testing direction for projects, and assure that the apps being built meet robustness, quality and security requirements.
- Work with delivery coaches, designers, developers and tech leads to ensure we're building high-quality, engaging products.
- You will be client-facing at times, capable of representing the company in both technical and non-technical discussions, and able to engage directly with client teams and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 5+ years professional test automation experience
- Significant experience in working with one or more of the following technologies: Mobile, Espresso, XCUITest, Appium
- Experience testing API’s with Postman or an equivalent tool
- Experience with exploratory testing
- Experience with accessibility testing, including VoiceOver/Talkback support on mobile
- Experience testing across a range of mobile devices.
- Experience setting up (or working with) Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines, specifically Github Actions
- Experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbally
- Experience working within development teams in agile environments such as Scrum / Kanban, using workflow management tools like Github Projects, Jira, or Linear
- English level B2 or above
