Job Description
Senior Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for testing hardware/software within the DAF EITaaS program. Collaborates in Agile teams ensuring high-quality solutions meet business and technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product, development, and IT teams to understand complex hardware and software requirements
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for end-to-end solutions
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle
- Perform in-depth functional, performance, reliability, and compatibility testing on various hardware asset management functions
- Conduct rigorous functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing for software asset management functionality
- Lead testing efforts specifically for ServiceNow's Software Asset Management and Hardware Asset Management modules
- Utilize defect tracking tools to log, track, and manage issues
- Generate comprehensive test reports
Requirements:
- U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance or Software/Hardware Testing roles
- Proven, hands-on experience testing both hardware and software systems
- Minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience testing within the ServiceNow platform, with specific experience in testing: ServiceNow Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro) module and ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) module
- Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles and best practices
- Expertise in various testing methodologies (functional, non-functional, integration, system, regression, UAT)
- Demonstrated experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow ITSM)
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills
