Job Description

Part-time Senior Research Analyst supporting ICF’s education, prevention, and social-program research. Developing mixed-method evaluations, analyses, reports, and SAS code remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to research and evaluation plans using various designs and mixed methods
  • Develop and implement qualitative and quantitative data analysis plans
  • Contribute to technical reports for researchers and practitioners
  • Conduct comprehensive quality reviews of work products before client submission
  • Develop SAS code for longitudinal projects
  • Review and refine previously written SAS code
  • Collaborate with research, evaluation, and analytic staff
  • Support proposal development for new work
  • Apply academic knowledge and work experience to projects involving K-20 education, adult education, substance use prevention, and other social programs

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in education, public health, sociology, psychology, public policy, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience conducting qualitative and quantitative data collection, research analysis, and/or program evaluation
  • Expertise with SAS code
  • US citizenship required due to federal contract
  • Ability to pass a SF-86 background check
  • No use of illicit substances, including cannabis, in the past 7 years
  • Knowledge of prevention research and/or K-20 and/or adult education in the United States
  • Knowledge of experimental, quasi-experimental, and mixed method research designs
  • Experience using SPSS, R, or Python preferred
  • Experience creating data visualizations preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Teams
  • Excellent verbal, oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities while meeting stringent deadlines
  • Prior consulting experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
