Job Description
Senior Ruby on Rails Developer building software used by millions worldwide. Designing features, fixing bugs, and testing full-stack applications remotely within EEA-compatible hours.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Product Owner to design and implement new features and applications
- Fix bugs in the existing application
- Write tests and execute them on CI
- Manually test features in the staging environment
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of commercial Ruby on Rails experience
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Excellent understanding of SQL
- Comfortable using a Linux machine
- Full-stack development ability with minimal assistance
- Understanding and use of object-oriented programming concepts
- Appreciation for good code-level testing
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Able to work Monday to Friday during core hours of 10:00 to 16:00 Irish Summer Time/GMT
- Must be based in the EEA (European Economic Area)
