Job Description
Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer handling development for online adult entertainment platform. Collaborating on feature ownership, legacy modernization, and API integration.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications at scale
- Tackle legacy systems head-on and modernize them thoughtfully
- Own features end-to-end, from database design to API responses to UI integration
- Build and integrate with third-party APIs and internal services
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code using RSpec
- Collaborate closely with your entire team, from DevOps to Leadership to Marketing
- Be passionate about your code, be a self starter and team motivator
Requirements:
- Senior-level experience with Ruby on Rails - this is non-negotiable
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, performance tuning, and creative problem solving
- Comfort working in large, long-lived codebases
- Experience writing and maintaining RSpec test suites
- Solid grasp of security and API communication
- Frontend experience with JavaScript & CSS, preferably native
- A pragmatic & passionate mindset - you know when to refactor and when to ship and care about your results
- Someone who enjoys ownership, responsibility, and long-term impact
- Nice to Have (Not Required): Experience in architecting long-lasting applications, Familiarity with modern front-end user experience within the Rails stack, Exposure to high-traffic, revenue-critical systems
