Job Description
Senior SAP Project Manager leading global SAP implementations and migrations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget (CapEx/Opex) and risk matrix.
- Lead the strategic technological transition to SAP S/4HANA.
- Coordinate greenfield projects focused on the SAP Fit-to-Standard approach.
- Apply and adapt the SAP Activate framework integrated with agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).
- Lead vendor qualification, contracting and governance of major partner implementation consultancies.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (functional consultants, ABAP/Fiori developers and architects).
- Report project status directly to directors, C-level executives and global committees.
- Validate integrated test plans, cutover strategies, data migration and post-go-live support (Hypercare).
- Work in partnership with the OCM (Organizational Change Management) team to mitigate cultural and operational impacts on the business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field. Postgraduate studies are a plus.
- Proven track record leading large, complex SAP projects, preferably in multinational environments.
- Hands-on, demonstrable experience with SAP version migration projects (ECC to S/4HANA).
- Deep knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and PMBOK guidelines.
- Fluent or advanced English required (reading, writing and speaking for global meetings). Spanish is desirable.
- PMP (PMI), SAP Certified Associate (Project Manager) or Scrum Master certifications are strong advantages.
