Job Description
Building automated test coverage for a technology company focused on government and education sectors. Collaborating with teams to enhance software quality and system reliability across multiple products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Improve test coverage and identify quality risks across existing applications.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to accelerate test development and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve test failures across application, infrastructure, and data layers.
- Reduce flaky tests and improve CI/CD pipeline reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance testability and confidence in production systems.
- Establish scalable testing standards, tools, and best practices across multiple products.
Requirements:
- Strong programming skills in **C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java**.
- Experience developing and maintaining **automated unit and integration tests**.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as **xUnit, JUnit, Jest, and Playwright**.
- Solid understanding of testing concepts, including **unit testing, integration testing, mocking, and test isolation**.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within large and complex codebases.
- Experience working in **Shift Left** and quality-focused engineering environments.
- Strong English communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- Interest in using **AI tools** (e.g., Claude, Copilot) for test generation, refactoring, and coverage analysis.
- Basic understanding of **LLMs** or a strong willingness to learn.
