Job Description
Senior macOS Software Engineer building systems software and applications for DTEX’s behavioral intelligence security platform. Developing secure integrations across enterprise endpoint components.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, document, and maintain software modules running on the macOS platform
- Develop systems software and applications for macOS
- Work with other teams to develop new features and integrations between DTEX software components
- Contribute to the Engineering Team as DTEX grows and scales
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related Engineering or Science fields
- 3+ years of experience in relevant roles
- Proficient in developing software for the macOS platform
- Strong understanding of macOS administration
- In-depth knowledge of macOS platform architecture and internals, including Darwin, Cocoa SDK, Core Services, and Apple development libraries and SDKs
- Proficient in Xcode and programming in Swift, Objective-C, and C++
- Experience developing using the Apple Endpoint Security framework
- Knowledge of OS internals, including kernel mode and user mode, filesystems, networking concepts, process and application management, security, and access control
- Knowledge of databases, cryptography, and troubleshooting in a macOS environment
- Knowledge of macOS device management applications and concepts
- Prefer experience in startup environments
- A US citizen based in the US
