Job Description
Senior Software Engineer at Ocient developing innovative technology for scalable data solutions. Working remotely as part of a distributed team on large-scale systems and machine learning initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Help scale teams working on Distributed Systems and Machine Learning initiatives
- Own and evolve Bazel-based build system and Buildfarm remote-execution infrastructure while contributing broadly to developer tooling and automation
Requirements:
- Hands on experience with large-scale distributed database systems
- Writing code to solve complex problems using an object-oriented programming language (e.g. C++, Java, C#)
- Ideally, experience in architecting high performance, distributed systems
- Strong understanding and application of data structures and algorithms
