Job Description
Senior software engineer building Clear Street Active, a high-performance trading platform for active traders. Developing responsive interfaces with real-time market data and low-latency execution workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and build the next generation of Clear Street Active, a high-performance trading platform for active traders
- Integrate real-time market data, low-latency execution workflows, and advanced trading tools into a performant, responsive web interface
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team on large-scale initiatives
- Deliver high-impact solutions shaping Clear Street's prime brokerage experience
- Work with engineers to maintain a high-quality platform serving institutional clients
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of professional experience implementing web applications
- 3+ years of experience working with modern web technologies, including demonstrated success at a Senior or higher Engineer level
- Expertise building and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications using TypeScript, React, Tanstack, and Tailwind
- Prioritize end-user experience in API design, functionality, and performance
- Strong command of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Passion for tooling, performance, maintainability, and best-in-class developer experience
