Job Description
Senior Technical Application Engineer supporting the technical sales strategy for nuclear controls in GE Vernova. Leading technical evaluations and contributing to growth in the nuclear controls opportunity pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Support pre-sales technical discussions with customers for strategic deal development; providing technical insight on GEV products and services for nuclear controls
- Actively listen, understand, and interpret customers’ business goals, operating objectives, and control system risks
- Research and understand competitors’ regional value propositions and go to market approaches
- Lead a multi-disciplinary applications team to respond to customer technical specifications for conventional nuclear controls upgrades
- Define engineering effort and material requirements to achieve customer expectations and nuclear industry standards for quality
- Own the Technical Application Guide definition for nuclear controls applications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear Engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry work experience with control system applications or controls project execution.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the nuclear industry.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
