Job Description
Senior Technical Product Owner leading enterprise platform strategy at Golden 1 Credit Union. Driving product backlogs, compliance, stakeholder alignment, and Product Owner mentorship.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of major product initiatives
- Drive innovation and strategic initiatives to enhance product offerings
- Provide advanced thought leadership and address complex business challenges
- Conduct high-level vision/validate sessions with senior business stakeholders
- Translate complex business needs into technical requirements and strategic solutions
- Recommend advanced technology solutions to senior business stakeholders
- Oversee prioritization and management of multiple major product backlogs
- Mentor and guide Technical Product Owner I and Technical Product Owner II
- Lead cross-functional teams in user experience design and journey discussions
- Track progress toward release of major products
- Develop and use advanced personas to track performance and inform product design
- Implement continuous improvement processes
- Advocate for customer needs and identify innovative solutions
- Establish success criteria and measurable customer satisfaction results
- Maintain knowledge of credit union compliance laws and regulations
- Handle additional duties as assigned, focusing on strategic initiatives and leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Management Information Systems, Information Management, Information Technology/Computer Sciences, or related work experience required
- 7+ years experience in product management, digital transformation, solution design, and business planning required
- 7+ years experience in operations, engineering, agile methodologies, or solution development required
- Strong technical fluency in architecture, technical risk, and platform evolution
- Thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance, including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws
- Must satisfy background screening requirements of the Federal Credit Union Act
