Job Description
Senior Manager for Transaction Tax leading multi-disciplinary deal teams on due diligence and advisory projects. Managing relationships with private equity clients and coaching junior team members.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-disciplinary deal teams on tax due diligence, structuring and advisory projects for private equity and corporate clients.
- Be a trusted voice in negotiations, providing calm, commercial advice when the stakes are high.
- Manage and grow relationships with PE houses, corporates and management teams across the UK mid-market.
- Support the strategic direction of the team — shaping propositions, delivery models and the way we go to market.
- Coach and develop managers and junior team members, fostering confidence and technical excellence.
- Collaborate across Cooper Parry’s corporate finance and transaction services teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Significant experience leading tax aspects of M&A transactions — ideally in a private equity context
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge and advise senior stakeholders
- A passion for developing people and building a culture of excellence and trust
