Job Description

Tax Analyst managing corporate tax compliance, audits, and planning for Remote, a global employment platform. Supporting entities and tax advisors across jurisdictions worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to the International Tax Manager and assist in controlling corporate tax compliance tasks, including filings, supporting documentation, and payments, for all Remote group companies worldwide
  • Work with tax advisors to prepare and submit reports and returns related to corporate tax obligations of Remote group entities
  • Analyze sensitive corporate tax topics, including compliance issues and tax planning worldwide
  • Ensure sustainable compliance with tax authorities in countries where Remote operates
  • Analyze and discuss risk positions arising in Remote’s corporate tax compliance
  • Support the team in tax audits and inspections worldwide
  • Monitor tax-law changes across EMEA, APAC, North America, Central America, and South America

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or related areas
  • At least 4 years of aggregate experience in corporate tax compliance
  • Proficiency with corporate income taxes, payroll withholding taxes, and withholding taxes on local and cross-border services
  • Proven advisory and compliance experience across local and cross-border direct taxes and tax treaties
  • Working knowledge of transfer pricing rules
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Knowledge of recent corporate tax compliance developments, including OECD Pillars 1 and 2 and DSTs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Consultancy background is a plus
  • Other languages are a plus
  • Remote-work experience is a plus, not required
