Job Description
Senior Web Engineer focused on creating customer-facing features for a restaurant booking platform. Collaborating with product and design teams to enhance user experience and product performance.
Responsibilities:
- Building new customer-facing features in our booking platform
- Creating polished, responsive interfaces with React, Next.js and Tailwind CSS
- Prototyping entirely new product ideas
- Improving performance, accessibility and user experience
- Working alongside Product and Design to solve real customer problems
- Building reusable components and evolving our design system
- Supporting experiments and A/B testing to improve conversion
- Occasionally contributing to our React Native mobile application
- Helping improve our engineering practices and AI-assisted development workflows
Requirements:
- Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript
- Experience building applications with Next.js
- Excellent frontend engineering fundamentals
- A good eye for UI quality and customer experience
- Experience working closely with Product and Design teams
- Confidence owning features from idea through to production
- A pragmatic approach to balancing speed with quality
- Bonus points if you’ve worked with: React Native or Expo, E-commerce or marketplace products, Experimentation or A/B testing, GraphQL, Design systems or component libraries, Analytics and customer behaviour tooling
