Job Description

SEO Specialist responsible for on-page and off-page strategies for US clients. Collaborating with teams to improve rankings, drive traffic, and maximize growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research aligned with business goals
  • Optimize website pages (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking, schema, etc.)
  • Perform content audits and recommend updates for SEO performance
  • Improve site structure, crawlability, and user experience
  • Collaborate with content writers to ensure SEO best practices
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and page performance
  • Implement technical SEO fixes (redirects, canonical tags, indexing issues, etc.)
  • Develop and execute white-hat link-building strategies
  • Conduct backlink audits and competitor analysis
  • Perform outreach campaigns for high-quality backlinks
  • Manage local citations and directory submissions (if applicable)
  • Monitor domain authority and backlink profile health
  • Identify partnership and PR link opportunities
  • Develop SEO-driven content calendar
  • Create content briefs for blog & category pages
  • Identify keyword gaps & competitor opportunities
  • Build topical authority within niche
  • Conduct comprehensive technical audits
  • Improve site speed & Core Web Vitals
  • Optimize crawlability, indexing & internal linking
  • Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt & canonical tags
  • Resolve duplicate content and pagination issues (eCommerce-specific)
  • Track KPIs: organic traffic, rankings, conversions & revenue
  • Provide monthly performance reports
  • Use insights to refine SEO strategy

Requirements:

  • 2–4+ years of proven SEO experience (US market experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Google ranking factors and algorithm updates
  • Experience with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and GA4
  • Solid knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action plans
  • Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Nice to Have: Experience in competitive US industries, Basic HTML/CSS knowledge, Experience with content strategy and topical authority building, Understanding of CRO principles
