Job Description

Service Design Specialist creating and managing holistic service interactions for Mitacs. Collaborating with teams to optimize processes and implement customer-focused strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the service design vision and strategy
  • Manage end-to-end service journeys
  • Design and facilitate workshops to co-create workflows
  • Analyze internal processes
  • Integrate user research and feedback loops
  • Monitor performance metrics
  • Share knowledge and deliver training on workflows

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a service designer (or in a similar role)
  • Strong experience in workshop facilitation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret data
  • Experience with the following practices: conceptual thinking, user research, prototyping
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma is an asset
  • Knowledge of French is an asset
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is required
