Job Description
Service dispatcher coordinating technician schedules, field jobs, and outage responses for Qualfon. Communicating service updates while working 100% from home in Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor technician availability and job queues throughout the day
- Assign and track field jobs using dispatch platforms and outage tools
- Respond to Priority 1 and 2 alarms, escalations, and fallout from missed appointments
- Communicate ETAs and job updates to internal teams and customers
- Document job status and actions in Teams, email, and tracking systems
- Collaborate across shifts to ensure smooth handoffs and continuity
- Coordinate field operations, manage technician schedules, and ensure timely resolution of service requests and outages
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of Call Center experience required
- At least 1 year of work at home experience required
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and adhere to assigned schedule with minimal assistance
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
- Professional and articulate voice
- Ability to multi-task in several computer applications at once while holding a conversation with a customer
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, and at times, hectic environment while maintaining a professional attitude
- Computer savvy and able to resolve minor technical issues with minimal assistance
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to problem solve
- At least 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Upload speed of 25Mbps; Download speed of 50Mbps
- Internet service provider must be highly stable with 1% or less packet loss
- Latency under 100ms
- USB headset with noise-canceling microphone; 3.5 mm headsets and gaming style headsets are not approved
- Available cell phone or tablet and ability to install required 2FA software for Multifactor authentication
