Job Description
SOC Analyst monitoring security alerts and resolving incidents for Leadtech’s global digital products. Improving vulnerability management and security processes across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts across the SIEM and detection stack, including Wazuh and ThreatHub
- Escalate and drive security incidents to resolution in line with the Incident Response Plan
- Address vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
- Optimize internal and external processes
- Balance multiple projects while aligning work with brand standards, cultural nuances, and regulatory requirements
- Engage with product, engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders to gather requirements
- Evaluate options and develop tools and processes supporting organizational goals
- Collaborate with the security team to improve the company's security posture
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 1 or 2 years of experience in SOC / SIEM teams, Incident Management, Security Alerts triage, etc.
- Basic familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Understanding of IAM concepts including least privilege, MFA, key rotation, and orphaned accounts
- Familiarity with SIEM/EDR tooling such as Wazuh or Microsoft Defender, or equivalent
- Ability to read logs, alerts, and basic detection rules
- Strong written communication in English and Spanish
- Strong organizational skills for tracking incidents, findings, tickets, and evidence requests
- Ability to proactively follow up with teams, gather evidence, identify overdue deadlines, and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision
- Ability to independently identify gaps or deviations and escalate them in a timely manner
- Certification in progress or completed is desirable, such as CompTIA Security+, CSX, Certified CyberDefender Level 1 (CCDL1), TryHackMe, or CSA
- Exposure to EU and USA cybersecurity regulation is desirable
- Familiarity with SIEM / SOC platforms or vulnerability management tooling is desirable
- Prior experience handling security events is desirable
