Job Description
Social Media Intern managing X content for Better Collective’s Playbook sports betting media product. Growing audience reach through real-time sports trends, memes, and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Create, schedule, and execute sports betting content primarily on the X (Twitter) account
- Identify broader sports betting trends, viral moments, and real-time conversations across sports media
- Support the social media team in developing audience-growth and brand-presence strategies
- Assist in marketing the Playbook product across social channels to drive audience engagement and reach
- Own and manage the Playbook X (Twitter) presence
- Report to Andrew Basulto, Hiring Manager for the Betting Media & Playbook team
Requirements:
- Familiarity with sports betting terms, markets, and overall betting culture
- Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices, primarily focused on X (Twitter)
- Familiarity with the sports media landscape and live sports commentary
- Willingness and availability to work some weeknights and weekends during key sporting events
- Passion for sports and sports betting
- Understanding of viral culture, memes, algorithms, and real-time social dynamics on X (Twitter)
- Proactive content creation and trend-spotting ability
