Job Description
Marketing Social Media Manager responsible for elevating brand awareness and engaging patients through social media. Collaborating with various teams to produce educational and inspiring stories backing reproductive healthcare initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative development and execution of a national social media strategy that elevates brand awareness, supports patient acquisition goals, and celebrates the mission of helping people build families.
- Oversee the planning and publishing of content across corporate and clinic-level channels, ensuring a cohesive voice, brand consistency, and compassionate tone.
- Inform content creation and creative direction, collaborating with marketing, communications, and clinical subject matter experts to produce educational and inspiring stories that build trust and engagement.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks, including platform guidelines, response protocols, and compliance with healthcare marketing and privacy regulations (HIPAA, FTC).
- Partner with paid media and analytics teams to align organic and paid strategies, optimizing campaigns for reach, conversion, and efficiency.
- Monitor and interpret performance data, providing regular insights and recommendations to improve audience engagement, community sentiment, and content effectiveness.
- Manage and mentor internal and external resources, including agencies, freelancers, and regional partners to ensure alignment, timeliness, and high-quality execution.
- Stay ahead of social trends, platform evolutions, and emerging formats, identifying opportunities for innovation that reinforce US Fertility’s leadership in reproductive healthcare.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in social media strategy, content development, or digital communications, ideally within healthcare, wellness, or a similarly regulated industry.
- Proven track record leading social media programs that deliver measurable growth in awareness, engagement, and conversion.
- Deep understanding of social analytics, audience targeting, and content optimization tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong sense for tone, empathy, and brand storytelling.
- Fluency with design tools and an aesthetic sensibility.
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders, agencies, and distributed teams.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
