Job Description
Social Media Manager engaging communities across platforms for Vanta’s Trust Management Platform. Building a dynamic social presence, capturing content, and executing platform-specific strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Own daily engagement across LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Instagram, and YouTube, jumping into relevant industry conversations, monitoring replies and comments, and keeping the brand present with a bias toward action
- Grow Vanta’s presence on X through consistent posting, replies, and real-time participation in relevant conversations
- Capture content in-office and at events, and help produce short-form video for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
- Assist with social calendar planning, scheduling, and day-to-day publishing in partnership with the Social Media Lead
- Support YouTube and Shorts publishing, including titling, descriptions, and packaging to drive channel growth
- Create internal “post kits” and drive amplification around key moments
- Write social-native copy across platforms and support organic social calendar management
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate campaign goals into platform-native content and support execution timelines
- Identify trends early and execute meme-able, on-brand content quickly
Requirements:
- Extremely strong social-native instincts for community engagement and brand voice in real-time interactions
- Deep understanding of X as a platform: what works, how conversations move, and how to grow an audience
- Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts content dynamics and algorithms
- Video editing experience for short-form content (fast cuts, captions, hooks)
- Strong short-form copywriting that is punchy, platform-aware, and voice-consistent
- Comfortable making and filming content, especially in office and event environments
- YouTube fundamentals including packaging, thumbnails, and channel cadence
- Ability to spot opportunities for amplification and drive internal engagement across teams
- High responsiveness and a bias toward action—you have "fast hands" and move decisively
- Experience building or managing a newsletter cadence is a plus
- B2B SaaS or cybersecurity/security industry experience is a plus
- Familiarity with AI tools for clip generation and workflow acceleration is a plus
- Familiarity with Sprout Social, Slate, JIRA, Canva, Splice, Rev, and GIF makers are a plus
- Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
