Job Description
SDET building C# and Playwright automation for Liviniti’s healthcare finance platform. Integrating testing into Azure pipelines and validating healthcare finance applications and APIs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks from scratch using C# and Playwright
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify high-risk areas and define automation coverage for web applications and APIs
- Integrate automated test suites into Azure pipelines for continuous testing and shift-left practices
- Participate in pull request reviews for application and test code
- Ensure adherence to SOLID principles and clean code standards
- Perform root cause analysis of flaky tests and production defects
- Provide detailed technical reports and metrics to stakeholders
- Communicate QA status, progress, and risks to management
- Advise the team on project status and opportunities for improvement
- Find cost-effective solutions to improve monthly QA efforts
- Abide by HIPAA obligations and complete required HIPAA training
- Work with clients across all 50 states and adjust work times to cover meetings in all time zones
- Work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant to industry demands when needed
- Travel minimally
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of professional experience in software testing or development
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET Core/6+ ecosystem
- Proven experience using Playwright or Selenium for cross-browser testing
- Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs using RestSharp or Playwright’s native API testing capabilities
- Ability to write SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform test data setup
- Expert knowledge of Git, including branching, merging, and rebasing
- Snowflake experience
- Microsoft Teams
- Flow charts such as Lucid Charts
- Understanding and some experience in Figma
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to troubleshoot problems in unknown situations and provide effective feedback
- Ability to work independently and make logical business decisions given general guidance
- Ability to consolidate ideas and collaborate with cross-functional working groups
- Ability to communicate at all management levels, including internal, customers, vendors, and business partners
- Industry certifications in QA or testing, such as ISTQB certification
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes
- 3–6 years of software quality assurance experience as an SDET
- 4 years of software engineering experience in a healthcare finance setting preferred
- Direct healthcare finance experience preferred, especially self-funded medical benefit plans or healthcare provider connectivity
- Must attend, complete, and demonstrate competency in required HIPAA training
- Must abide by HIPAA obligations related to Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Must report discovered HIPAA violations to the Compliance Officer and/or Human Resources
- Must be available during core hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required
- Minimal travel required
