Job Description
Mid-Level Front-End Engineer developing reusable Angular components for Dataminr's threat intelligence platform. Collaborating with designers and backend teams to build fluid experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Build reactive, reusable Angular components (using TypeScript, HTML, and LESS)
- Prototype new features in collaboration with our designers and UX engineers
- Build services that connect to RESTful APIs, sending and receiving data, utilizing RxJs to its full potential
- Review code written by other team members or other teams
- Help put tools, processes, and documentation in place to improve our code quality
- Write Unit Tests with Karma/Jasmine alongside the feature you are building
- Research, inform, and execute front-end architecture changes
- Measure and resolve performance bottlenecks, using tools like Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, WebPagetest, or custom tooling
Requirements:
- 2-3+ years of proven experience as an Angular Developer
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and Typescript
- A practical understanding of common design patterns
- Comfortable with version control systems, branching, merging, rollback, etc. (Git preferred)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Knowledge of secure software development practices
- Unit-testing experience
- Experience working in an Agile team-driven process
