Job Description

Software Engineer L4 responsible for designing and implementing features for Funnel's CRM software. Working with product managers and engineers in a remote environment focused on innovating the rental experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with product managers and designers to design, plan, and implement new features
  • Translating requirements into a scalable implementation plan
  • Defining non-functional requirements to ensure performance meets standards
  • Working on a cross-functional product development team responsible for building and maintaining CRM and AI products
  • Mentoring less experienced Software Engineers
  • Conducting technical interviews to assess Software Engineering candidates
  • Providing feedback to improve team processes
  • Facilitating design reviews and project planning
  • Creating a culture of continuous improvement and learning
  • Fostering collaboration within the team and across the company
  • Performing other related responsibilities as assigned by management
  • Traveling up to 5% as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing software applications in an agile environment
  • Ability to manage and influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
  • Proficiency with one or more modern web application frameworks, like Django, Flask, Rails
  • Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
  • Experience working with cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience building effective alerting and monitoring policies as part of feature development
