Job Description
Software Engineer with Convr, enhancing customer experience on AI-driven underwriting platform. Developing software solutions and collaborating with teams to meet client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical consulting expertise for complex, high-impact projects
- Propose conceptual technical solutions and make changes based on the client’s feedback in an Agile Environment
- Collaborate with the development team to maintain, fix, and improve existing applications.
- Develop program specifications and construct/modify code to meet business needs
- Assist with architecting software solutions for complex high-volume data environments
- Create testing strategies and procedures for all core components
- Test and debug programs
- Ensure technical deliverables to customers are complete, consistent, high quality, on time and deliver valued outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering team to ensure custom solutions and integrations align with the Convr platform roadmap.
- Work with offshore teams and partners to deliver seamless, high quality work products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
- Machine Learning/AI coursework/ Data Science coursework preferred
- 2+ years of experience coding & implementing projects using Python and Java
- 2+ years of Enterprise Application Experience
- Experience building RESTful microservices and APIs
- Experience working on a Platform oriented architecture and working with databases Elastic/Snowflake/Cassandra/RDBMS/MariaDB/MySQL/NoSQL
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Git, Gitlab, Jenkins
- Kubernetes experience is a plus!
