Job Description
Software Test Automation Engineer building scalable automated tests for web, API, and backend systems. Defining CI/CD quality strategies and partnering on DevSecOps testing practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for web, API, and backend systems
- Establish robust, scalable test frameworks
- Define test automation architecture, tooling, and strategy
- Support the transition from manual to automated testing
- Embed continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Produce actionable quality metrics and automated reporting
- Partner with developers and QA teams on regression coverage, shift-left testing, and DevSecOps practices
- Evaluate emerging tooling, including Generative AI-assisted test generation
- Support performance testing
Requirements:
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, Cucumber JVM or Behave, JUnit, and TestNG
- Strong OpenJDK 11/17/21 expertise, including Streams, Collections, and Lambda expressions
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Apache JMeter, and test data management
- Experience with Oracle and complex SQL
- Knowledge of Angular/SCSS, Protocol Buffers, Jackson, and Gson
- Knowledge of JWT/JJWT, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
- Experience with Generative AI test generation and Amazon Kiro
- Knowledge of QA methodologies, equivalence partitioning, and boundary value analysis
- Knowledge of grant lifecycle processes, from submission through amendments
- EQF Level 7 university degree with at least 10 years of professional IT experience, or EQF Level 6 degree with at least 12 years of professional IT experience
- Degrees in any field are accepted
