Job Description
Spanish Interpreter providing consecutive interpretation services in medical and financial settings. Ensuring smooth communication between English and Spanish speakers remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate consecutive interpretation services over the phone and via video between English and Spanish in medical, social services, customer service, and financial settings
- Facilitate communication between healthcare providers and patients to ensure effective understanding and care
Requirements:
- Medical, customer service, social services, and financial calls interpretation skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Remote interpretation experience in both languages is mandatory
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Relevant certification in medical interpretation or a related field
- HIPAA compliance
- Ethernet connection (must be connected directly to the router via cable); Wi-Fi is not allowed
- Noise-canceling microphone and USB headset (specific brands accepted)
- Browser: Latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox
- Processor: i5 or higher, 6th generation or newer
- Camera: Minimum resolution of 1080p
- Full-time availability, 5 days a week (2 days off)
