Job Description

Accounting intern supporting payroll, reconciliations, reporting, budgeting, and month-end close. QC Servion provides centralized operational services across data-center industry companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with account reconciliations and financial record maintenance
  • Support preparation of journal entries and accounting schedules
  • Assist with month-end close activities
  • Support payroll-related accounting functions
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
  • Help prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
  • Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Support variance analysis and reporting
  • Participate in audit preparation and documentation gathering
  • Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing; Junior and Senior students preferred
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles through coursework
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Frequently required to remain in a stationary position
  • Frequently moving through home office, facility and other environments
  • May occasionally move equipment or other items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Up to 5% business travel, potentially to any or all 50 US states
