Job Description
Staff Developer Advocate inspiring developers through code and content to build with Voice AI at Deepgram. Driving thought leadership and technical outreach in developer communities.
Responsibilities:
- Ship Reference Patterns: Architect and open-source sample apps
- Code-First Content: Produce technical documentation
- The "Zero-Index" Sensor: Turn feedback into "Friction Reports"
- Scale Awareness: Author high quality technical content
- Technical Outreach: Engage where developers live (GitHub, X, Discord)
- Strategic Travel: Spend ~20% of time leading workshops and speaking at conferences
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in Software Engineering or Developer Relations
- Solid foundation in JavaScript or Python techstacks
- Comfort working across the full stack
- A portfolio demonstrating ability to make complex topics simple
- Experience managing developer communities
