Job Description
Technical Evangelist for DigitalOcean engaging with early-stage founders and driving adoption of their cloud solutions. Focusing on AI-native startups and high-impact onboarding support.
Responsibilities:
- Be the "boots on the ground" at founder-heavy events such as demo days and accelerator meetups
- Craft code and content specifically for technical founders focusing on architecture and cost optimization
- Work closely with teams to establish technical credibility and recruit elite AI-native founders
- Act as a trusted point of contact for key startups for onboarding support
- Surface feedback from founders to Product and Growth teams
Requirements:
- 7+ Years of "In the Trenches" Experience: deep technical background as founder, CTO, or early-stage engineer
- High-Velocity Prototyping: rapidly build, ship, and iterate on high-quality technical prototypes
- The "Technical Closer" Mindset: engineering depth and Go-To-Market (GTM) intuition
- Strategic "Founder-to-Founder" Empathy: understanding technical trade-offs and speed-to-market
- Ecosystem "Hunter" Drive: networking in startup ecosystem
- Storytelling with Business ROI: ability to translate complex cloud features into business advantages
