Job Description
Lead architect for next-generation machine learning platform at Forterra. Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to integrate and maintain scalable machine learning solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement and maintain the next iteration of our machine learning platform.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists to identify and prioritize needs for our existing models and future plans for models.
- Plan how our machine learning platform will integrate with the broader data platform efficiently and effectively.
- Work closely with edge data, hardware and software engineers to ensure our training pipelines scale to meet cloud and edge needs.
Requirements:
- 8+ years total experience in software development.
- 5+ years experience with machine learning platform development and administration (eg. Jupyter, Sagemaker, H20, Colab or similar).
- 5+ years experience with deploying models leveraging data science libraries and frameworks (eg. PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, XGBoost or similar).
- 5+ years developing and administering feature stores and feature servers (eg. Feast or similar), model registries (eg. Sagemaker model registry or similar) and workflow managers (eg. Airflow, Dagster or similar).
- 3+ years experience with monitoring machine learning models in production.
- 3+ years experience with distributed training pipelines (eg Ray or similar)
