Job Description
Experienced Product Manager overseeing Camper Camp team for Hipcamp's consumer-facing app and website. Creating best experiences for campers leveraging AI tools and strategic insights.
Responsibilities:
- Synthesize and prioritize the needs of our campers to create a world-class experience
- Create, optimize, and iterate on the consumer journey with the highest ROI
- Partner with cross-functional teams to grow demand in key markets
- Define team goals, roadmap, and project prioritization
- Lead a team of engineers and designers to drive growth
- Use modern AI tools for product development
- Act as the expert on scaling demand in the marketplace
- Define success metrics, analyze performance, and iterate quickly
- Create structures to help teams be productive
- Develop plans to deliver value across departments
Requirements:
- 8+ years in Product Management at a consumer product and/or marketplace company
- Strong proven strategic instincts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders
- Proficiency with rapid hypothesis-driven experimentation and analysis
- Strong product sense and ability to envision technology solutions
- Experience with leveraging AI tools in daily work
- Analytical capabilities to break down complex problems
- Strong UX and design sense
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passion for getting more people outside
