Job Description
Staff Software Engineer at Ocient disrupting the data space. Leading complex ML initiatives from design through deployment while mentoring engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Own complex ML initiatives from end to end
- From problem definition and model design through deployment and iteration in production
- Mentor other engineers and influence technical direction on model architecture and performance
- Ensure ML solutions are robust, efficient, and aligned to real customer needs
Requirements:
- Hands on experience with large-scale distributed database systems
- Writing code to solve complex problems using an object-oriented programming language (e.g. C++, Java, C#)
- Ideally, experience in architecting high performance, distributed systems
- Strong understanding and application of data structures and algorithms
