Job Description
Systems Engineer providing systems-level IT support for U.S. end users. Troubleshooting issues across various Microsoft environments while working remotely from the Philippines.
Responsibilities:
- Provide systems-level technical support via phone and email to U.S.-based end users
- Troubleshoot issues across Microsoft environments (Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Azure)
- Diagnose and resolve problems involving servers, networks, endpoints, and applications
- Go beyond scripted fixes by analyzing ambiguous or incomplete problem statements
- Document troubleshooting steps, decisions, and outcomes clearly in ticketing systems (ConnectWise)
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with structured notes and context
- Assist with Azure, Intune, AVD, endpoint management, and backup solutions
- Manage multiple tickets and priorities in a deadline-driven MSP environment
Requirements:
- Exceptional English communication skills , written and spoken
- 4+ years of hands-on IT support experience
- MSP or enterprise IT experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting: Windows 10/11 Microsoft 365 Azure or cloud-based services
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewall troubleshooting)
- Strong sense of ownership: responsive, dependable, and documentation-driven
