Job Description
Senior Tax Associate providing tax preparation, review, planning, and consulting for Baker Tilly Partners. Fully remote contract role serving high-net-worth individual tax clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compliance and consulting services to Baker Tilly Partners
- Perform technical review of complex individual tax returns and supporting tax documents
- Lead multiple engagements delivering proactive tax planning and strategic consulting
- Apply technical developments to complex tax situations
- Manage the client experience as primary point of contact for approximately 75 clients
- Invest in professional development through individual effort and firm-wide learning and development programs
- Support team members’ growth and development through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy
Requirements:
- Three (3)+ years’ experience in tax return review and planning for high net worth individuals required
- 4-year degree required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or law, or a similar degree in business
- Multi-state tax compliance experience for individuals, including understanding of composite, withholding and pass-through entity tax
- Experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a professional services firm
- Highly developed CCH Axcess, PDFlyer and Microsoft Suite skills
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred
- Available to work a contract basis through April 30th 2027
- Two (2)+ years’ supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates preferred
- CPA or EA strongly preferred
- Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills
