Job Description
Technical Implementation Lead owning enterprise API integrations for Easyship’s global multi-carrier shipping platform. Leading solution design, Statements of Work, customer implementations, and go-live delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical discovery with Enterprise/Strategic Sales, mapping customer systems, data flows, and constraints to validate product fit
- Own solution design for implementations, including architecture, endpoints, webhooks, authentication, and data mapping
- Scope and sign off Statements of Work covering deliverables, go-live dates, forecast shipment volume, and support terms
- Resolve technical questions before sales and during implementation by reproducing issues in Postman or Insomnia and finding root causes in requests, responses, and logs
- Lead technical kick-offs and calls with customers’ technical teams and senior stakeholders
- Partner with Solutions Developers on scope, design, build questions, and delivery against the Statement of Work
- Manage multiple implementations from signature through go-live and volume migration, tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, and change requests
- Own implementation escalations and recovery plans where shipment volume falls short of forecast
- Lead structured handovers to Customer Success Managers and Customer Support
- Maintain governance on custom builds, including support, cost, and production build registers
- Turn recurring questions into documentation and communicate product gaps to Product and Engineering with a clear business case
Requirements:
- 5+ years in technical implementation, solutions architecture, or a similar technical customer-facing role, including implementations for an enterprise SaaS product
- Expert, hands-on command of REST APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SSO, and API keys
- Fluency with JSON, data mapping, and SQL
- Confidence using Postman or Insomnia
- Structured troubleshooting across HTTP status codes, rate limits, error handling, retries, and logs
- Understanding of how eCommerce platforms, ERPs, and warehouse systems integrate with shipping services
- Confidence with technical and non-technical senior stakeholders
- Experience writing Statements of Work, running multiple implementations at once, and holding scope and pricing boundaries
- Effective use of AI, including reviewing agent-generated work and translating it into plain language
- Excellent technical documentation skills
- Strong written and verbal English
- Bonus: Python or JavaScript; logistics or eCommerce experience; Shopify, Squarespace, Celigo, or Zapier implementations; prior Easyship experience
