Job Description

Territory Account Specialist growing Essity’s incontinence business across Chicago, Milwaukee, Michigan, and surrounding healthcare facilities. Managing prospecting, account relationships, pricing, and distribution partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new business and convert, upsell, and maintain independent business accounts.
  • Maintain and provide service to independent Essity buying facilities.
  • Work with the Regional Key Account Manager to install newly acquired chain facilities.
  • Manage relationships and build rapport with distribution representatives and end-user facilities.
  • Target existing accounts for premium products and line extensions.
  • Drive growth and profitability through the full product assortment and appropriate pricing strategy.
  • Build rapport and prospect with assigned distribution, GPO, and Essity counterparts.
  • Work with Revenue Management on new business opportunities and pricing/terms.
  • Support facility-level customer business reviews.
  • Manage relationships with GPO and distribution sales representatives.
  • Plan and attend local and territory trade shows.
  • Cross-train with clinical representatives.
  • Develop and execute business plans through quarterly business reviews with distribution partners and regional end customers.
  • Make approximately eighteen calls per week.
  • Maintain CRM, expense management, and other organizational processes.
  • Perform other essential responsibilities as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or three (3) plus years' experience in an account management role
  • Three (3) plus years of experience in sales or account management; healthcare industry experience preferred, such as Long-Term Care
  • Ability to work day and night shifts as needed
  • Proven track record leading the sales process for account opportunities, including prospecting, negotiating, and closure
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Effective team collaboration
  • Effective internal and external communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel 70% to domestic locations
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle and possession of a valid driver's license required
