Job Description
Test Analyst certifying bank, acquirer and PSP integrations for EPI’s Wero digital wallet. Investigating APIs, logs and distributed services across Europe’s payment network.
Responsibilities:
- Scope testing requirements and guide member banks, acquirers and PSPs through end-to-end certification
- Review and validate member test outcomes against EPI specifications, scheme standards and compliance rules
- Investigate technical issues during testing, analyse distributed system logs and inspect API payloads
- Execute internal tests to identify edge cases, inconsistencies and system gaps before member releases
- Convert manual test scenarios into automated test cases
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and tooling
- Maintain comprehensive records of test results, defects, decisions and resolutions in Jira and Confluence
- Collaborate with Product, Payment Experience, Infrastructure and Operations stakeholders
- Translate testing feedback into product and process improvements
- Work with external member banks, acquirers, PSPs and test tooling partners to support Wero integrations
Requirements:
- +3 years of professional experience in QA, testing, technical operations or a similar role, ideally within payments, banking or fintech
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience
- Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2); French, German, Dutch or other European languages are a plus
- Strong experience in end-to-end and integration testing across multi-tier or distributed architectures
- Hands-on proficiency with REST APIs, JSON data contracts and API testing or scripting tools such as Postman or Bruno
- Solid experience reading system logs, debugging integration errors and troubleshooting issues across distributed services
- Experience working directly with external partners, member institutions, clients or technical stakeholders such as Project Leads and Test Managers
- Proficiency with test management workflows, issue tracking and documentation using Jira and Confluence
- Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear guidance for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with European payment schemes and rails such as SEPA, Instant Payments, SWIFT or card schemes is a nice to have
- Experience with payment gateways, processors, core banking platforms or mobile banking integrations is a nice to have
- Understanding of regulatory and scheme certification standards such as PSD2 or scheme compliance is a nice to have
- Knowledge of reconciliation, clearing and settlement workflows is a nice to have
