Job Description
Test Automation Engineer building Playwright and TypeScript automation for UI, APIs, data pipelines, and Azure environments. Driving QA quality, coverage, and CI/CD integration.
Responsibilities:
- Define the testing approach and identify quality risks
- Drive quality improvements across the team
- Design and maintain automated tests covering UI, APIs, and integrations
- Build scalable and maintainable automation frameworks
- Improve test reliability and coverage
- Test databases and data using SQL and Databricks
- Validate ETL processes, data pipelines, and data quality
- Work with Microsoft Azure environments
- Use Git and participate in code reviews
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Use AI tools for test creation, analysis, debugging, and testing efficiency
Requirements:
- Senior / Lead-level QA expertise and ownership
- Ability to define the testing approach, identify quality risks, and drive improvements across the team
- Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript / JavaScript
- Robot Framework experience is relevant
- Experience designing and maintaining automated tests for UI, APIs, and integrations
- Experience building scalable, maintainable automation frameworks
- Experience improving test reliability and coverage
- Experience with databases, SQL, Databricks, and validation of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data quality
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure environments
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Practical use of AI tools for test creation, analysis, debugging, and improving testing efficiency
